NDIS

 The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is part of a nation wide funding scheme to assist those with disabilities that may impact their everyday life. The scheme is available to be eligible for the NDIS you need to:

• Meet residency requirements
• Be aged between 0-65 years
• Meet disability requirements
• Meet early intervention requirements

To access speech pathology through Gotcha Talking, we recommend using a plan manager or being self-managed.

Centrelink Carer’s Allowance

Children under the age of 16 with severe communication difficulties, are able to have their parents/carers apply for this allowance. It is not means tested and you are able to have your speech therapist assist in the completion of these forms following an initial assessment.
