Dyspraxia (Apraxia)

placeholder

Dyspraxia refers to a person’s difficulty in articulating and creating the sounds consistently. This can make it difficult for one to be understood by others. Dyspraxia is also known as apraxia or childhood apraxia of speech.

Therapy can be slow as the child/adult learns to sequence sounds and gain consistency in their speech. However, gaining the ability to communicate clearly makes therapy worthwhile.
